Most word list pages make you search. This one reads the board.
The usual skribbl hints page is a search box over the default word list: you copy the pattern from the board, type it in, scan the matches and return to the game. Skribblhints does that loop for you while you watch the drawing.
| In the round | A word list page | Skribblhints |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Reading the hint | You enter the pattern, like _oa__, into a search box. | It reads the hint on the board as each letter drops. |
| 2. Typing the guess | You pick a match and type it into the chat. | It types the answer for you, at a human pace. |
| 3. The word list | One static list or a gist, often English only. | The list is set for your language, out of eleven. |
| 4. Getting started | Keep a second tab open and switch every round. | One button, then a short check adds it to your browser. |
A blank board with only the word length gives many matches. Each letter skribbl reveals cuts the list, and the guess goes out once one word fits.

Sure today, still open
- Known: it reads the hint pattern live, as the letters appear.
- Known: the answer is typed at a human pace, not pasted in a flash.
- Known: the word list is matched to your language, in eleven languages.
- Open: custom words a host adds to a private room are not on the default list, so a match there is not sure.
- Open: with only blanks and no letter yet, many words fit the length, so the first guess waits for a letter.
To you, before the next round:
the next round starts with blanks on the board again.
Let the list do the searching, and you keep your eyes on the drawing.
